At Gaia's Garden, every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches or individually created with care. We take great pride in making timeless pieces that are meant to be loved for years to come.

Right of withdrawal
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 
In accordance with applicable European and Dutch consumer protection legislation, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your order number or other proof of purchase.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the standard outbound shipping costs you paid, in addition to the item price.
Once your return has been approved, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

How to return an item
You can start a return via your personal account orders page.
Alternatively, you can contact us at info@gaia-garden.nl, stating your full name, your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
Once your return request has been approved, we will provide return instructions. Unless otherwise instructed, returns should be sent to:
Valkenboslaan 226, 2563EA, Den Haag (the Netherlands). 
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items
Customers are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, as would be permitted in a physical shop.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include photographs of the item and its packaging where possible.

Cancellation
Orders for ready-made items may be cancelled free of charge before they have been shipped.
Once your order has been dispatched, the order can no longer be cancelled. If you no longer wish to keep the item, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with this Return Policy.

Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued using your original payment method. Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@gaia-garden.nl.

Custom-made items 
Items made specifically to your individual specifications (for example custom sizing, custom colour combinations, personalised embroidery, or made-to-order pottery) are exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Dutch and EU consumer law.
Because production for custom orders begins shortly after your order is confirmed, cancellation is only possible before work has commenced. Once production has started, the order can no longer be cancelled.
If you are unsure whether production has begun, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
