Behind Gaia's Garden is a partnership of love, art, and shared vision.
My name is Rui and I'm a Taiwanese artist based in The Hague, Netherlands. Every single piece of knitwear featured in the shop is handcrafted entirely by me. I see this space as a playground for my inner child—a sanctuary of freedom, pure intuition, and raw creation inspired by nature and the beauty of chaos.
Everything you see here is shaped by human hands in the present moment: no two pieces are ever the same. Each creation carries its own heartbeat and is completely unique.
While I immerse myself in the fluid flow of creation, my partner Gabriele takes care of the organization, planning, and structure behind the scenes, creating a safe, grounded space for my imagination to bloom and supporting my work with a genuine soul.
Together, we built Gaia's Garden: a world where art, nature, and pure imagination come alive.

About Gaia's Garden
Gaia’s Garden is named after the goddess of the Earth, the mother of all life.
We use her name to honour the simple beauty, energy, and spirit of nature.
Our intention is for the Garden to feel alive, and to create a quiet connection with the Earth we live on.
In a world that moves fast, we hope to offer a moment of slowing down and to return to the beauty of time.
Creation for us is not about being correct or proper.
Maybe it’s more about being present, exploring and discovering beauty through change. Like a garden, it grows in the way it needs to.
